Beaver Creek Talons Challenge

March 3-4, 2012

The Beaver Creek Talons Challenge will be showcasing the best steeps Beaver Creek has to offer. More than 24,000 vertical feet of black Diamond and Double-Black Diamond runs await on Beaver Creek’s legendary World Cup Birds of Prey downhill course, Grouse Mountain, and on the flanks of Larkspur Bowl. Conquer all 13 runs and earn your spot on the Talon's Wall-of-Fame. So, get ready for bragging rights!  

Talons Challenge is limited to the first 1,500 registrants. Last year's registration sold out, so register early!  As usual, you get a bratwurst and Bud Light or non-alcoholic drink just for registering, plus finishers get a custom hat and pin. 

New Talons Challenge for Kids Rounds Out Talons Weekend
Beaver Creek’s signature Talon’s Challenge event held March 3, 2012 tackles nearly 24,000 vertical and showcases the mountain’s toughest 13 black and double-black diamond runs in one day. Participants earn a spot on the electronic wall of fame at Red Tail Camp. Now kids can partake with the news Kids Talons Challenge March 4, 2012.

A portion of the Beaver Creek Talons Challenge proceeds from the event will be donated to SOS Outreach. SOS Outreach provides 4,500 kids with an adventure based youth development curriculum.
